About Us

What is our aim?

To offer emotional, mutual and practical support to those people whose lives have been affected by breast cancer. To share experiences and feelings with others in a similar situation, based purely on own experiences.

We are a group of women who have undergone treatment for breast cancer who meet to offer emotional and practical support to those people whose lives have been affected by breast cancer.

If you choose to listen only and not speak about your own experiences then your wishes will be respected.  Our meetings provide a relaxed atmosphere which promotes wellbeing in an uplifting way
Supporting you

Support workers are also members of this group and are available to offer emotional and confidential support to those affected by breast cancer.  Please contact Angela for more details.

"On Tuesday 17th March 2009 I went to my first Focus Group meeting. It was a lovely evening and very interesting. Everyone was very friendly and it was good being with people with similar problems. Looking forward to the next one at Marks and Spencer! I hope in the future to be able to help the group with fund raising events,if required. "
